David spent the last 15 years of his career as the Director of Golf at Sewickley Heights Golf Club in Western PA. He brings valuable course leadership experience with him to SCC. His major focuses throughout his career have been member service, course management, merchandising, and creating and managing club events. He is married to his wife Amy of 23 years and they have 2 children, Luke(21), and Lily(15). Dave has a passion for cooking, planting, and maintaining flowers of all sorts and varieties. He loves outdoor activities and playing golf with his son when time permits. He also has a fascination with history and new areas of exploration. David's daughter is in Special Olympics so he try to help/volunteer as much as he can. As a family, they are very eager to travel to an unknown part of the country, for most of the family, to explore and learn new things.

Having grown up just a few miles away in Forest Lake, I have been around the game of golf my whole life due in part to my father currently being the Director of Golf at Town and Country Club. I started caddying when I was 10 years old and realized early on, golf was in my future. I learned that taking care of the Membership, setting up successful events, and running Junior Golf Programs, are vital to any Club’s success. Prior to accepting the position as Head Professional at SCC, I was the Head Golf Professional at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa MN. I am very excited to be moving back closer to home and continuing my journey in the golf industry at Stillwater Country Club. Outside of golf I enjoy fishing and spending time with friends and family. I am looking forward to a great upcoming season and getting to know all the members.

Brian Yach comes to SCC with an exceptional amount of experience in handling many areas of the Club. Originally from Shoreview, MN, Brian worked for 20 years at North Oaks and spent the last 10 years in Arizona. He has held positions from Outside Operations Manager, F&B Manager, Assistant Golf Professional, and Membership Director. When it comes to golf, Brian has done everything that Golf Professionals do on a daily basis. He will be a great asset to the entire SCC operation.

Luke Malatak started caddying at the age of 12 for his father and then members a few years later. He has been around the golf business his entire life. Working Outside Operations the last 5 years, he has handled thousands of interactions with members and their guests over the years and looks forward to bringing that same mentality to assist the membership at SCC.
