“I’ve been honored to be the Head Golf Professional at Stillwater Country Club since 2013. Prior to that, Mike Tracy hired me as the Assistant Professional in 2009.  I got my start in the golf business working at Deacon’s Lodge and The Preserve, which were both under the Grand View Lodge umbrella. I’m a Saint Paul kid who attended Saint Agnes High School and then onto Augsburg College in Minneapolis. I found that golfing is what I loved to do and had the passion to make it my career so I attended the Golf Academy of San Diego and never looked back. I live in Lake Elmo with my wife, Jenny, and our daughter, Elly, son, Charles, daughter, Maddy.  Among all things golf, I love spending time with my family at the cabin in Crosslake and Jenny’s family in Iowa, traveling, sports and plenty of “catch-up” reading in the winter months.”

“I know it’s a cliché, but I really have been playing golf for as long as I can remember. I started by playing in various junior tournaments, moved on to play at Centennial High School for five years, then three years at Minnesota State Mankato and currently play in multiple Minnesota Section events. I thrive on the competition and had some good success earning 2014 Top Ten in Assistant Season Long points, a three-time Minnesota State Open Qualifier and finishing second in the 2014 Assistant Event.

Growing up in Woodbury, I was always a kid who loved sports.  I spent the majority of my childhood not golfing but instead playing sports like hockey, baseball and soccer.  My passion for golf started growing around 8th grade, and soon became my main priority. After having a pretty successful career at East Ridge High School, I moved on to UW-Eau Claire. I was lucky enough to play four years of varsity golf for the Blugold’s. Some highlights from my college career include being named team captain, playing in Nationals and achieving all-American honors. After graduating in December 17’ and my passion for golf still growing, I knew I wanted to make it my career. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to start. I am honored and grateful to have this opportunity and cannot wait to begin my professional career at SCC. When you don’t see me at the course I am probably traveling, relaxing with my friends and family, or spending time on the lake.
